The Department of Education was established in the year 1982. Initially there were 32 seats at +2 level and for Education Pass there were 16 seats which was started in the year 1992. In the year 2009 Education (Hons.) at the degree level started functioning with strength of 32 seats gradually this department included education a Generic Elective at Graduate level. The department at present runs Post Graduate courses in Education with a strength of 32 seats. The Department offers U.G., Elective, P.G. and Ph.D. programmes. This Department organises various activities throughout the year like seminars, conducts workshop and field trips for providing better and lively exposure to the students for their betterment. The mission is to promote students for exceptional achievement and preparing them for global Competitions by fostering educational excellence.
